Mate
One of the drawbacks of working for my company in the UK rather than in other European sites and 'we could not leave. Far fewer holidays.
Without going into boring details fundamentally we have fewer weeks (the French), less bank holidays (the English), no possible conversion of overtime on holidays (like the Germans) and even the obligation to use all the holidays this year (but this is not 'a condition too heavy considering the amount'). After
for years, partly wasted my holidays in medical examinations, blood tests, needs 'trichological and difficulties' clothing, I came to the conclusion that they can not increase the number of days off I would have to improve their efficiency. So today I went for a check from a local dentist.
Taking advantage of a sunny, though cold and windy afternoon, the proximity of the dental practice and the positive effect of the latest readings on decrease happy I decided to go on foot.
Walking down the street in a residential area, where all moving car, it's a bit 'weird. I only met mothers with strollers and people walking the dog.
"Dog's fine, mate" he mumbled without looking up one of these, traded my ceder them, lazily, the pitch for fear of fours.
Mate and 'british slang for friend, can 'use alone or combined with other items, such as people who share an apartment or flatmates are called, in the case of a house, housemates.
Mate in English instead, and 'a tea-like drink, which is typical of Argentina. As is typical of Argentina and 'that I'd be dancing the tango tonight if they had not canceled the lesson, without warning. (
