Rotten
rotten I met years ago when the English teacher, and even of her being American, San Francisco, there was dissecting the film.
One of these, a brilliant comedy of errors with two impostors just funny, Steve Martin and Michael Caine, was called to the fact Dirty Rotten Scoundrels . Enjoyable as I recall: I can only advise.
Rotten adjective in that case used in the sense of corrupt, may 'also be used, more' informally and by extension, for something physically rotten, like "rotten eggs". Or to tell someone you do not do well in something like "you are a rotten cook" or finally with the meaning of unwell, ill.
"You feel rotten now, do not you?" I said last Tuesday, opening a sympathetic smile, a young doctor, not without asking me first, this time tone and look vaguely ready accomplice and, if so, to understanding condescending "What have you drunk yesterday?". No look, I'm Italian, more 'drink that I like to eat. I only drank water. In return, I threw up four times in six hours.
Well, the first part of the answer is not 'was never spoken, I was too sick to go out with potermene sarcastic responses, but the rest is' real.
fact is that for three days I have stayed at home, a virus spread from the intestine, cared for the precious little Italy (more than 'a few colleagues) just mobilitatasi, providing a vital network of rescue and safety.
Now, after three days of almost ascetic fasting passed between bed e divano, tra computer, sms e dvd, siamo pronti a ripartire.
La prima influenza del 2011 e' stata archiviata!
